| partners | | We had time to hit a couple more spots in Yosemite before heading to camp at Crane Flat. We hit the Olmsted Point and Dome across the street to take in some nice views and then eat lunch. From there it was down to Tuolumne Grove to see the big trees for the first time. We had to wait a couple minutes to park but the crowd wasn't to bad. We did see 3 or 4 people trying to carry out Sugar Pine pine cones. Guess they didn't see the signs.... We got a little rain while here. The trees were awesome. On the hike back up we got to talk to a nice young Lady Ranger all the way back to the car. I think some people thought we were getting escorted out  . I was impressed. She answered every question and had done lots of cool hikes in the park. From there it was off to an early night to bed. |
