I had not done this County High Point and was kind of in the area. The road was dirt the last few miles but dry and Flying Focusable. The first mile to mile and a half looks to be an old road. Pretty rocky but not so bad you can't enjoy the hike up. Once you hit the saddle your trail number looks to go down the other side while you take a right and head for the tower. A fair amount of Oak on this hike and shade for at least half the hike. Very few Aspen. Nice views but the tower was closed at this time. I did climb part way up but it was windy so got off of there. It was nice to get another high point in. Almost 8,000 feet and not far out of Prescott.
