This was the 56er hike for 2017. We selected this hike because it was near Big Daddy's Pizza and it's a summit with few visitors. The hike started out nice but there was some steep terrain on the way. There were some huge boulders, a nice view of the lake and surrounding area and a bench mark. Denny almost fell into the Dutchman mine but we didn't have time to extract the gold. The real treasure was waiting at Big Daddy's. Thanks Bob & Denny for another memorable hike. It's the highest point in the Superstition Wilderness in Gila County.
