This started as a trip in from the west trailhead for a change. I saw a coati getting drink by the old road. There was more water than I remember and I lost interest at on point because I didn't want to wade through or climb around. I was the first vehicle there but saw many hikers and backpackers on the hike out. I even heard "Hey Wally" and saw Chiu whose was backpacking with a group to spend the night. There were ten additional vehicles a the lot when I returned. On the drive out I had to wait for a gopher snake to cross the road. The dust suppression spraying is going on so be prepared to wash it off. ](*,)
