| no partners | | | The thermometer was at 22 degrees when I got to First Water trailhead just before 7am. The reading may have been off but looking at the frost on the sign in box it must have been close. There were several vehicles already there and the ones parked overnight had frost on them too. The hike in was nice. I saw a pair of Bighorn sheep in the first mile and finally took my jacket off on Bull Pass next to Black Top Mesa. I hiked down to Needle Canyon and climbed a hill to look around. After taking some photos, I hiked out. There were many more hikers and 8 horseback riders on the way back. It's really nice hiking in the sun on these cooler days. |
