The middle section of Two Bar trail, I had only hiked once (Tule to Peralta) and that was at night. It was time to hike it in the daylight and check out the ruins the trail passes through. I could have done an out and back but why do that when you can just do a sick off-trail route up over Two Bar Mountain and ten hike the trail back? The route wasn't too bad (aka I didn't die) but it did get steep and loose for a while above 4700 feet. The cloud cover kept the hike pleasant and I saw a through hiker, who I spoke to briefly, on Two Bar trail. I saw the ruins, I beat the rain, the Jeep didn't break down what more can you ask for?
