Well I had every intention to finally make it to the true summit!! Ugh, Once on the saddle I proceeded up the vaguely visible summit trail.
The trail up was pretty prickly and slippery. I made it within maybe 20 feet of the first rock peak but the wind being head on and so gusty it almost knocked me down. Since I was alone I decided to turn back. It was right there within reach but better to be safe. It will have to wait for another day.
