First time hiking this loop. Started early from the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve parking lot at the Desert Vista Trailhead. Headed east and going in counter clockwise direction around the loop. Lots of activity on the trail today. Joggers, bikes, and even 2 hot air balloons were within 5 feet of the trail. Trail is in good condition, but very rocky in parts. Has some great views to the North, East, and South. There are several other trails that connect to this one, so I will have to come back to check them out. :)
