Been awhile since I had hiked this trail. My friends suggested we had to go this weekend as they had not hiked it before. So spur of the moment twist my arm it's set in motion. We are off and running, my friends climbed trees while I photographed them. Met some young people on the trail with their speakers blaring. Thankfully they realized this disturbing mother nature and turned it low. Us slow but steady older folks passed them a few times. Yay us... I bring my southern self has to chit chat with campers on the rim...this of course delayed our descent and wowser hail on da trail with rain. The outcrop of rock on the way down was so like McAfee knob AT and Angel's rest back home in va. Fab day with friends!
