For my 8th time down into the canyon, I figured to add Battleship. I have seen it over and over but never explored the route. Went down South Kaibab, to the rest house at Bright Angel Campground, up Bright Angel to the 2 mile turnoff and then headed off trail.

The bouldering problem to the top of Battleship felt much more like a class 4 haha, a little narrow but so fun to top off a day. First people to have logged the book in almost a week (I am assuming due to weather) but the trail is pretty well marked but still had the route downloaded in case! Did not really check it until the north end of the Battleship to make sure I was in the right area to climb on up. The summit views are amazing! Made me buy the national geographic maps of the GC to start planning the next adventures....
