| no partners | | I took S-22 from Salton City to Borrego Springs because wildflower reports indicated things were popping pretty good from Truckhaven over to Clark Lake. Bingo! There was a big jeep club event over by Truckhaven, so it was a bit hectic leaving the Salton Sea area (usually is), but traffic was mellow the rest of the way. There is a lot blooming out there as a result of the amazing fall and winter rains, but it is different than in March 2017 (last time I was there). The area along Henderson Road had very little bloom, whereas in 2017 it was insane. But, that section might explode with blooms in a few weeks. Who knows? I'm not complaining, just happy to be on the road!  |
