Not too many people were out there, but there was a group working to remove the invasive Sahara mustard (prevalent; a daunting task). The flower show out here should continue to increase in the coming weeks. Because of recent massive runoff, the road past Desert Gardens was closed (though it is now back open all the way to Collins Valley). Subject to change again with new storm activity. The trail into Borrego Palm Canyon from the campground was also closed when I visited due to high water and flood damage. What a winter!
