Andrew followed-through on his promise to hike with me, so I closed my laptop and we hit the trail. Sunscreen was overkill, as the shadows from Pass Mountain were already hitting the trail by 4:15. We "summited" above the saddle despite our hesitation with that beehive up there. Hardly saw a soul. Love this place!
