| no partners | | this was a good enough overnighter. thought about deer creek, but wanted some gains. a gradual climb tests the legs. no problem, if you're avid. you'll prolly spy AZT folk in april. water from snowmelt still visible. almost all crossing had a trickle. good news, for such exposure. i hit the perfect weekend with highs in the 60's. clouds helped along the way. if i were to do this again, push on to the Horse Camp seep, and take in much better views. still not sure what significance "the Park" holds, and why it's on a map. all in all, a decent hike with good heart-pumping although moderate/consistent grade. 3/5 kokopellis.
