| no partners | | | I stumbled upon information for this destination a few years back (AKA Gordons Gallery) always wanted to go and after a lot of homework and several attempts my friend Greg and I finally made it. In following the tradition of not posting details of sensitive sites, I will tell you its on the Arizona Strip. If you want to go bad enough you will find it too. You will need a 4WD and some map and GPS skills, and patience if it takes you as long to find it as it did Greg and I.None of the roads going there are marked they sort of criss cross BLM land going in all different directions , we knew the GPS coordinates early on so thats only part of the battle. The final result was being treated to..... By a very wide margin the best rock art I've ever seen in person in my life. I questioned all the effort we put out until we finally found it and it was worth all the effort. |
