| no partners | | | Hike to the Hieroglyphics high point via the Peak 3465 route to avoid the long drive. After the approach, I dropped down from the saddle east of Peak 3465, heading north towards Burro Flats. Off trail down to the bottom of the drainage then took a faint trail northwest about 3/4 mile, then off trail up the east slopes of Peak 3651 to the summit. Relatively easy hiking without too much bushwhack, mostly knee-high brush and grass (gaiters were nice). Bagged Peak 3465 on the way back. Multiple burro sightings. |
