| no partners | | | Began along west rim leading to Diamondback along 2142, then backtracked to the switchback and went to the highest point EOT at the quarry. Weather was moderate to good and plenty of new vegetation growth. This is the time of year for rattlers and other reptilian creatures including Gila monsters. I caution all to be Extremely Alert, as a Sidewinder was spotted on my previous trip. |

Numerous yellow and violet blooms are beginning to grow at lower elevations and should see cacti blooming in the weeks to come |
