| no partners | | Rarely not in view of wildflowers during this hike on Memorial Day weekend just west of Prescott. Starting from near the Iron Springs Trailhead to Skyline Drive and back along trails primarily used by mountain bikers who miss many of the wildflowers. Below are as many as I could find in the Yavapai County Native & Naturalized Plants website and guess at using Plants of Arizona, but there were more species. |

Wildflowers Observation Substantial The most common might be threadleaf ragwort and phlox. Others include spreading fleabane, New Mexico thistle, desert globemallow, hackberry beardtongue, Palmer's penstemon, doubting mariposa lily and what might be Ceanothus and snowberry (Symphonicarpus). |
