Escaping from the crowds in Madera Canyon Belinda suggested a different approach. It was perfect shade in the Agua Caliente Canyon with a nice canopy of oak, juniper and pine. No people on this trail except for us.

Beware, there's lots of poison ivy on trail and very hard to avoid. Pants, sleeves and gloves are recommended.
