Wanted a little extra instead of the basic park and climb and glad we went this way... parked by Turkey Creek Trail head crossed the street and hopped on the trail. It runs right beside Oak Creek. Proceeded up the switchbacks and climbed up to end of trail. Perched for some photos and ran into an old friend. After chatting a bit we headed out to cool off by Oak Creek. Topped off the day by stopping by Rocky Road Ice Cream for a root beer float to go!
