Joined a friend who was hunting for the elegant tragoon. Gave her a 15 min head start so she could hide among the heaps of other birders we saw. Caught up with her at the Carrie Nation mine. Where it appeared some others had spotted one as they were talking so loud and carrying on that my friend gave up her hunt. Finished the loop with only encountering 1 other person
Yay... its getting old trying to find out of the way places without stumbling over people lately. Nice loop steep on the route down. I'm sure I'll be back
