very cool short hike in northern Joshua Tree NP. Severe desert landscape with the surprise palm oasis in the canyon at the end. spent some time climbing around on some of the rock formations along the way.

great short hike! not very crowded when we did it, but the crowds were coming in on our way back. timed it well
