| no partners | | | Took 4 months but finally got in the first hike of the year. This hike was a good reminder of how out of shape I am in but only way to fix that and that's to get out and hike. Trail was in good condition. Maybe 10 cars in the lot when we arrived around 9:30 and maybe 25 when we left a little over 3 hours later. No views of Rainier from Debbie's View today but still could see a ways out into the distance. Trail is in good shape. Saw roughly 20+ people during our 3 hours out on the trail and most were masked up. Most dogs we saw were leashed up as well. A good workout to shake off the rust from a long hiking layoff. |
