Left work early on my birthday for an afternoon hike in the Pinalenos. Hiked from the east TH to the west TH, then returned via the Swift Trail. The raspberry patches were at peak, and the many branches of Grant Creek were flowing strong. No fall leaves yet, but the bracken ferns were turning brown, so fall must be coming soon. I lucked out and the thunderstorm that popped up as soon as I started hiking :doh:

stayed just to the east of me. Not so much as a sprinkle until I reached the truck

, and then came the cold rain. I actually had to run the heater! Enjoyed the world's greatest turkey sub from Mt. Graham Market on the way down.
