It was yellas bday weekend so we headed north for some fun times and lazy walks in the woods. With all the rain, I was surprised that Sunflower was not full. I guess it goes to show just how dry it has been for it to have all been absorbed. I was also surprised with the ferocity of the mosquitoes. Apparently their eggs can survive years of drought and then all hatch at exactly the same time when the rain finally arrives. I have never experienced such an abundance of the virus spreaders in Arizona before. Our masks were not effective and we've all tested positive for West Nile, Zika, Dengue, Malaria, and Chikungunya.
