Drove up before sunrise to check out the snow. Wanted to drive down to Sycamore Creek but road was a solid sheet of ice and snow and wasn't worth the risk. 16 degrees with a slight breeze at the mtn pass with 3 inches powder. I was surprised at some people's speed over the pass, hwy was icy. Saw 2 cars slid off the road just below the pass.
