| no partners | | | Lily and I did a horseback ride from Ponderosa Stables to the T-Bone steakhouse for dinner then rode back. You have to be 13 for this ride and Lily turned 13 a couple weeks ago so it was a go! There were only 6 guest riders in our group and 3 ranch hands. It made for a fun group. Trails were in good shape. We started around 6pm with cloud cover and it wasn't as hot as I thought it would be. The food at the steakhouse was pricey but good! We watched the sunset from our table which was cool. We rode back with not much moonlight. Our first time riding at night. Scared at first but it turned out to be fun. A nice breeze and seeing the ranch hands silhouettes on their horses in the dim light was kind of cool. The horses know their way around. Lily's horse trotted a few time which she gets a kick out of. A very enjoyable outing with my granddaughter!! Thanks Lily !! Like HAZ, you rock!! |
