In the 18 years we’ve been in AZ this is our first trip here. Never wanted to leave the dog/dogs for a day. We are now in between dogs as Kia left us in May. Park opens at 9 AM and we were third in line. Went down the Anna Mae trail until we felt uncomfortable with the boulder scrambling. Over to Gowan Trail that took us down under the bridge. We were the first ones that day, but soon a kid, way ahead of his mom, arrived to take a few pics of us with bridge in the background. It was beautiful! Got hot coming out. Had stopped at Sprouts on the way and ate a sandwich at a picnic table in the park under a large shade tree. Stared a Bud Light.

Left house at 6:30 AM and back home in the pool by 1:30.
