| no partners | | | I haven't been out to this park area in about 2 months. Between the heat and humidity, getting used to getting home early after a hike, and 4pm Steeler kickoff (and yardwork to do), this seemed like the best option for the day. Found more trails I hadn't hiked yet, giving me enough of a reason to go out and explore. The clouds were rolling in from the southeast early on. I got some intermediate shade from them at times during the hike, but the humidity kept it muggy. Towards the end of my hike, Superstition Mountain and the Flatiron were covered by clouds, which is kind of rare during the monsoon without the lightning hazard. I was wondering how it would look to be up there to see that, but the idea of hiking up there in this soup wasn't appealing. thankfully @JuanJaimeiii was able to give a first hand account. |
