| no partners | | I haven't been out to this area in well over a year. I didn't feel like my normal Sunday morning jog, so I decided to go out of for a quick hike not far from home and this fit the bill. Started just as there was enough daylight to not need a headlamp, which at this time of year is after 7am. I had tracks loaded for some trails that I spotted on aerials a few year ago and followed them until I spotted a new trail and then improvised following trails to the east until I got to 4 miles and then started to head back.
Skies were cloudy enough all day to not need a hood or skirted hat for sun protection. Got some rain on the last mile back, but not much. Didn't see any other hikers, biker, equestians, etc, all day. |
