Went back to the Warpaint area to hike some more of the social trails. did the small ridge to the south and a few new spur trails, then looped around on another social trail and got onto the Desert Classic and headed east. I was planning to go out and back to get to about 10 miles when I found even more social trails. These are all flat and mainly used by biker and local residents, but that's good enough for me when the temperature is getting close to 100. I got to what my limit for the day would be and turned around, plenty more there. I'll keep note of this area for later this summer when it's crazy hot and humid in August.

a few more bikers than hikers, but not that many more. One or two trail runners as well. Everyone was gone by 10am, and I was also soon after. Had a horse fly stalk me and follow me back to my car the last quarter mile
