Wore shorts, short sleeves, Xero huaraches. We ran into several people dressed for poison ivy along the way who looked really hot. No reactions for either of us. Cool hike probably the most shade of any of the hikes we could do while we were there. About 6 miles. We skipped Colorado national monument as there was a bike race going on and we were advised the traffic would suck! Anyway, hit the museum on the way out. Camped in the RTT and it was pretty comfy. It will work great for the kids and the storage platform etc. was finished while we hiked. It will be fun to get it out for some camping/hiking this fall. |
