| no partners | | | First hike in Taos and probably going to be a regular trail run. 5 min. from off duty quarters. There are numerous trails on both sides of the road including one going all the way to Angel Fire. Snow on back side of the loop. Looks like it should be avoided after a rain with the deep foot prints on parts of the trail. It was a brisk 22 degrees when I started and had removed all layers by the end of the hike. I heard and then spied my opposite picking up from Holy Cross and heading south toward Santa Fe or Albuquerque on the way up. Great to have activities during my off time. |
