I was going to switch up my sleep schedule but snakes are still out before sunrise hoping to be photographed. Therefore, I'll be waking up @ 3am to comb the desert until October, where I'll go out at sunset to locate critters.

I knew snakes would be out today because it was muggy. I hit the same areas, so get the same results. Lots of newborns and hatchlings this year. I got 9 snakes this morning. I took the wrong camera with low battery power, so I had limit my photos. Lots of toads, scorpions, and sun spiders were out too.
