Very nice area even after the long dry summer. Long approach thru forest and open views past Thunder and Thimble mountains to the wilderness boundary, then the drop down Horse Canyon on lightly used but well constructed, cairned and maintained trail. Ends at the nicely flowing Summit City Creek with good trail options for backpacking loops up- and downstream.
