A group of us armored 5 more drainages along the reroutes built last year. Saw 4 thru hikers.

After lunch we moved to Washington Park and hiked up the Colonel Devin trail to the second bridge and took down a dead tree that was threatening to fall on the bridge. We used a rope to provide enough tension to cause the tree to fall away from the bridge and Shawn cut the wedge on the side of tree to also cause it to fall where we wanted. It all worked perfectly and it even broke into two pieces on loud contact with the ground!
