I've hiked a lot in the Superstitions, but never to Massacre Falls. The forecast was 80% chance of rain, but I took the gamble anyway. Glad I did; there was only a slight drizzle which made the trail sparkle, with low clouds over the mountain. Not enough for the falls though. Never complain about rain in the desert!
