| no partners | | Great fun hike. We took our Mitsubishi Lancer back in on the road to the trailhead, but some drivers may not be able to take their cars back that far - my hubbie is way talented at the off-road driving thing - especially in my car.
The trail is wide and most of it was still really really muddy due to the snow melt, but there was a hard pack trail through the vast majority of the trail that made it easy to not get stuck in the mud.
The hard part came at the end where the steps were - and they weren't so hard as slippery. After the steps, the trail was nothing but mud and snow. But, we hiked on over to the bridge and went out on it. It was a good little hike and our timing lent us great light. It was dark when we got back to the car. |
