Well, that's probably the most water I've ever seen at Bridalwreath. I took my new-fangled hiking poles with me and ended up carrying them in the whole way to the camp before even extending them to use as a prop while standing around shooting the breeze with a law enforcement ranger back in there. I used them on the descent and probably looked a complete fool as I struggled to get them coordinated. I have to say, now that I figured out how to make use of them...I'm a believer. I blew out of there at a pretty good clip to make up time for the jaw-jacking before sunset and felt no pain the next morning...:D
