| no partners | | From where I parked, I walked South toward Oak Butte. This was basically just a hill and there was no scrambling required. I was able to follow cattle trails most of the way. Near the top, I was able to zig zag a bit, walking around bushes. I found a registry at the top under a rock pile. One registry was started by Paul C in Feb 2021 and he was the last person to sign. I found another registry that was started in 1999 and I believe there were a few more recent entries but I don't remember how recent. I signed both registries. Overall, this was an easy hike and a route should not be needed but I posted one anyway...

Directions from Safford and points North: Take AZ-70 to Klondyke Rd. Go West on Klondyke road for 19.1 miles and turn right on Sand Tanks Rd also known as FSR 667.
Directions from Tucson, Willcox and points South/West: Take I-10 to exit 340 for AZ-186 E/Rex Allen Dr/Fort Grant Rd. Continue Northwest on Fort Grant Rd. Continue to follow Fort Grant Rd
