A perfect morning for me to practice hiking again. About 1/2 dozen other hikers agreed. The drive through the neighborhood is so pretty with the late spring bloom: Desert Orchid and Ironwood Trees, vibrant Phoenix Birds of Paradise and of course, our saguaros. Around the mountain I saw three Lookout Rock faces too.

Hiked without a hat and that's always nice.
