| no partners | | 2nd Hike on Day 5 of the Columbia River Gorge. More people now and the parking was almost full. Plus it's 1 day shy of the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend so people are starting to filter into the Gorge more.
The Hike was pretty straightforward and only 1 of 3 Waterfall Hikes I did, where you actually hike DOWN to the waterfall and hike back up to get out. It was a nice change although I still like getting the uphill out of the way first. Beautiful 2 tier waterfall and creek. After hiking back out, I did the Overlook Trail for some views. Not picture perfect due to another gray day in the Gorge, but it was a nice trail and nice views. And then it was on my way to my last hike of the day. |
