Shepperd's Dell is closed due to uphill instability caused by the Eagle Creek Fire in 2017. You can still see it from the road, and it's a pretty nice one.
Bridal Veil is another nice waterfall, but the lighting made it really challenging to get a good photo. Many of these falls along the gorge would look great with fall colors and some good lighting. I'm sure they've been beaten to death though.
There's a nice interpretive trail at Bridal Veil that swings out with great views over Interstate 84, uh, I mean the Columbia River and the CRGNSA. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving by and haven't previously visited. |
