| no partners | | | Let the house before sunrise for the drive to White Tanks and it was already 86 degrees when I got there at 6:30. My favorite parking spot was just repaved with some bright white lines. Started on the Competitive loop with a side trip up the Technical segment. Made it up the triple switchback climb, it's been a while, I credit the new Bontrager Gunnison tires (lol). Saw one other biker, who parked aside of me, on the way back to the van to get my sunglasses. Went back out for a counter-clockwise loop on Desert Fox, Ironwood, Ford Canyon, Waddell, Ford Canyon, Ironwood, and back on Desert Fox. Saw that same biker finishing his ride and loading up his bike on the back of his new Tacoma. Great sunrise and super moon set this morning. |
