| no partners | | | Decided to ride White Tanks this morning. Mixed it up and Parked at the recently remodeled Area 4, very nice! There's a short connector trail over to Mule Deer, then Ford Canyon for a bit to Mesquite, Waddell, Ironwood, Gray Fox over to the Comp Loop. Skipped the Tech Segment today. So happy to make it up the switchbacks today! Made my way back to Gray Fox after completing the Comp Loop, then Ironwood, Ford Canyon back to Mule Deer and Area 4 parking. Saw a rattlesnake in the bushes in the horse staging lot. Passed 2 hikers and a biker on the Comp Loop. Various other hikers a 2 bikers on the other trails. Made a stop at the windmill pond. Got started after 7, heat wasn't too bad, there was a nice breeze. |
