| no partners | | | Nice CCW loop from Silver Valley trailhead near Lake Alpine via 18E20, 18E16 and 20E04. The trail south of Duck Lake towards Elephant Rock is poorly maintained and about a mile of trail north of Rock Lake is through a recovering burn zone thick with young pines and scrub - the route is mostly obvious and cairned but GPS is recommended. Dry autumn conditions but the lakes have decent water levels. |
