Couldn't decide if I wanted to do a gravel bike or mountain bike ride this morning, so I settled on a easy MTB ride since that bike was already queued up in the bike stand. Out of the garage and across the street to FINS, then Maricopa trail over to Pirate trails. Got distracted with chasing the sunrise for a photo and turned off east onto a 2 track road. It was nice enough so I decided to continue, until it turned into a sandbox and then I was wishing I hadn't, but eventually dumped out on Fenceline trail. Took that north to the Iron Ranger on Park Ave and headed west. Passed a group of 6 hikers that were heading toward the Iron Ranger. Jumped on Doubloon to Bootlegger, Scurvy Spine, over to Corgett Wash. Hung a left on Mulligan, up over Westar Hill, back to FINS on Lum Wash. Screwed around a bit in FINS and then back home. Saw 4 bikers in FINS, 6 hikers in Pirate, 1 guy on Mulligan. Mornings are getting busy. Nice to see others out and about.
