| partners | | | Stopped by to check out the Stewart/Schlag log house from 1800. Not its original location but not far. When you only needed shelter, 12x15 was probably sufficient. There is a retention pond from what appears to be both water run off and natural springs. About .25 in we came across one of the feeder springs and zigzagged across some bridges as we may our way up the hill. Foliage is changing. Chipmunks and squirrels every few feet..black grey and brown squirrels. Kinda short but you could do a few loops. There was at least one offshoot we didn't explore fully. |
