| no partners | | Started the Butler-Freeport trail in Butler. An interesting town in decline. Lots of cool old architecture. The houses on the hills, while mostly in need of repair, are amazing and beautiful.
Things go up hill from the trailhead almost all the way to the Derailleur Bike Shop Cafe. Past some cool generational farms..mostly unfarmed. A sign that reads "Rifle range next 3/4 mile" but then gives no additional instruction on what that means. I stayed on the trail but might have peddled a bit faster. A little nip in the air but nice. The fallen leaves blowing through the trail was picturesque. I can't wait for some snow. The ride home took a 3rd of the time. I was able to capture some good video since peddling was optional. |
