With all the water coming our way I had a suspicion the Agua Fria was pouring right into lake pleasant. I confirmed at 94% full all signs pointed to yes. I loaded up and popped up to Table Mesa road. Lots of outdoor activities being shared out there. Probably not much off trail hiking over here however. They moved the gate quite a bit back. My boat is 52 lbs without any gear...ugg. The water was flowering. I put in right at the ramp area and floated my happy *** down the way. a few people down here but most congregated at the road. I saw a couple other boats. One couple was doing some net fishing. Birds. Birds everywhere. No Eagles

The fish were jumping but I think they were more interested in each other than eating. Thule Creek was ALIVE! I mean just fish jumping and splashing right at the shore. Birds diving under water and coming up with food. Bees on the yellow, red, blue....it was super skookum...I wish I had brought my boots I might have added Indian Mesa into the adventure. The day was warm enough to brave the waters. A little cool but well worth the dip. I hope the water level stays up so I can come back out again.
